HireApp Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how HireApp Technologies, Inc. ("HireApp," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use our services.

Introduction

This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes how HireApp Technologies, Inc. ("HireApp," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects personal information in connection with all of our products and services, including:

- Our public-facing website at https://www.hireapp.me (the "Website") - Our mobile applications available on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store (the "App") - Our web-based and mobile platform through which independent contractors ("Pros") find and complete gig work (the "Platform") - All related domains, subdomains, APIs, tools, and communications

Together, the Website, App, and Platform are referred to as the "Services."

This Policy applies to three categories of users:

- Website Visitors — individuals who browse our Website or submit interest/demo request forms without registering - Pros (Independent Contractors) — individuals who register on the Platform to find and complete gig opportunities - Business Customers — companies or individuals who use HireApp to list gig opportunities and source qualified Pros

By accessing or using any of our Services, you agree to the terms of this Policy and represent that you are at least 18 years old.

1. Information We Collect

The personal information we collect depends on how you interact with our Services.

1a. Information You Provide Voluntarily

**Website Visitors**

When you fill out forms on our Website (such as "Request a Demo" or "Contact Us"), we may collect:

- Full name - Email address - Company name and title - Phone number - Any additional information you choose to provide

**Pros (Independent Contractors)**

When you register for and use the Platform as a Pro, we collect:

- Full legal name, date of birth, and government-issued ID information (for identity verification purposes) - Email address and phone number - Home address and mailing address - Tax identification and banking information for direct deposit, which are collected and stored directly by our payment processor, Stripe, Inc. You will be required to create a Stripe account and accept Stripe's Terms of Service during onboarding. HireApp does not have full access to this information. - Profile information, including work experience, certifications, and skills - Emergency contact information (optional) - Vehicle information if applicable to certain gig types - Communications you send through the Platform, including support tickets and chat messages

**Business Customers**

When you register or engage HireApp as a business customer, we may collect:

- Business name, address, and tax identification information - Primary contact name, email address, and phone number - Billing and payment information - Gig opportunity details, work location addresses, and scheduling preferences - Communications and feedback submitted through the Platform

1b. Information Collected Automatically

When you visit our Website, use our App, or interact with the Platform, we automatically collect certain information through cookies, SDKs, and similar technologies, including:

- IP address and approximate geographic location - Device type, operating system, and browser type - App version and unique device identifiers - Pages viewed, features used, time spent, and other interaction data - Referring URLs and timestamps - Crash reports and performance diagnostics

1c. Location Information

For Pros using the App, we collect precise geolocation data when you are actively working a gig or have the App open in the foreground. Location data is used to:

- Verify your presence at a gig site (geofence check-in and check-out) - Support time-and-attendance compliance for customer reporting - Improve gig matching based on your proximity to available opportunities

You may disable location permissions through your device settings; however, doing so may prevent you from checking in or out of gigs and may limit your ability to use certain Platform features.

1d. Information from Third Parties

We may receive information about you from third-party sources, including:

- Identity verification providers - Background check providers (where applicable and legally permitted) - Stripe, Inc. (limited payout and transaction status data) - Analytics and advertising platforms - Business customers who provide information about scheduled gigs or work assignments

2. How We Use Your Information

2a. For All Users

- Respond to inquiries, demo requests, and support tickets - Communicate with you about our Services via email and push notifications, or where you have opted in, via SMS - Operate, maintain, and improve our Website, App, and Platform - Analyze usage patterns and performance - Protect against fraud, misuse, abuse, or security incidents - Comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal obligations

2b. For Pros

- Create and manage your Pro account and profile - Match you with relevant gig opportunities based on your location, skills, and preferences - Facilitate check-in, check-out, and attendance tracking for gigs - Process payments through Stripe and support tax form generation (including IRS Form 1099-NEC) via Stripe's tax reporting infrastructure - Send gig confirmations, scheduling updates, reminders, and operational communications via email and push notifications, and where you have opted in, via SMS - Conduct identity verification and, where applicable, background screening - Maintain records of completed gigs for compliance and dispute resolution

2c. For Business Customers

- Create and manage your account - List gig opportunities on the marketplace and match them with qualified Pros - Generate labor reporting, time-and-attendance records, and invoicing - Communicate with you about active campaigns, schedules, and performance - Support billing and contract management

We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.

3. Communications

3a. Email and Push Notifications

Email and push notifications are our primary channels for operational communications. We use these to send:

- Gig confirmations, schedule updates, and reminders - New gig opportunity alerts and availability notifications - Check-in/check-out reminders and attendance updates - Payment notifications and account-related updates - Platform announcements and policy updates

You can manage push notification preferences through your device settings or within the App. Opting out of certain operational notifications may limit your ability to receive time-sensitive gig updates.

3b. SMS and Text Message Communications

HireApp communicates with Pros and, where applicable, business customers primarily via email and push notifications. SMS/text messaging is used as a secondary channel for time-sensitive operational communications where you have opted in.

If you provide your phone number and expressly consent to receive text messages from HireApp Technologies, Inc., we may send SMS messages related to:

- Urgent gig confirmations and last-minute schedule updates - Time-sensitive check-in/check-out reminders - Critical account or compliance alerts

Consent to receive SMS is not a condition of using our Services. Message frequency will vary. Standard message and data rates may apply.

3c. SMS Opt-Out

To stop receiving SMS messages, reply **STOP** to any message from us. You will receive a one-time confirmation of your opt-out, after which no further messages will be sent. To resume messages, reply **START**. For help, reply **HELP** or contact us at [email protected].

We do not share your phone number with third parties for their own marketing purposes, and we do not use SMS for unrelated marketing.

4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We and our service providers use cookies, web beacons, SDKs, and similar technologies to:

- Remember your preferences and session state - Measure and analyze Website and App performance - Improve user experience across sessions - Support marketing and advertising activities (Website only)

You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings or through available opt-out tools. Note that some features of the Website or App may not function properly if cookies or similar technologies are disabled.

5. How We Share Your Information

5a. With Service Providers

We share information with third-party vendors and service providers who support our operations, including:

- Cloud hosting and infrastructure providers - Stripe, Inc. (payment processing, direct deposit, and tax form generation — Pros create a direct Stripe account and are subject to Stripe's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy) - Identity verification and background check providers - Analytics and performance monitoring tools - Email, push notification, and SMS communication platforms - Customer support software providers

All service providers are required to handle your information in accordance with applicable law and our data protection requirements.

5b. With Business Customers (for Pros)

When you are matched to a gig opportunity posted by a business customer, we may share relevant profile information with that customer, including:

- Your name and profile photo - Your work history and ratings on the Platform - Check-in/check-out timestamps and attendance records for completed gigs - Any information required for site access or compliance

We do not share Pros' financial account details, tax identification numbers, or government ID information with business customers.

5c. With Pros (for Business Customers)

We may share limited information with Pros, including gig location addresses, instructions provided by the business customer, and relevant site contact details necessary to complete the gig.

5d. Legal and Compliance Disclosures

We may disclose your information if required by law, legal process, court order, or governmental request, or as necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of HireApp, our users, or others.

5e. Business Transfers

In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of all or a portion of our business or assets, your information may be transferred to the successor entity, subject to the same privacy commitments described in this Policy.

We do not sell your personal information.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, or as required or permitted by law. Specific retention periods include:

- **Website visitor inquiry data** — retained for up to 2 years - **Pro account data** — retained for the duration of your active account plus 7 years (to support compliance, earnings records, and dispute resolution) - **Business customer data** — retained for the duration of the business relationship plus applicable legal hold periods - **Geolocation data from active gig sessions** — retained for up to 2 years - **SMS opt-out records** — retained indefinitely to honor your opt-out preference

You may request deletion of your personal information subject to the limitations described in Section 8 (Your Privacy Rights).

7. Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure. These include:

- Encryption of data in transit and at rest - Access controls and authentication requirements for our systems - Regular security reviews and vulnerability assessments - Employee training on data privacy and security practices

No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. While we work diligently to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you in accordance with applicable law.

8. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information.

8a. Rights Available to All Users

- **Access** — Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you - **Correction** — Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information - **Deletion** — Request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal and contractual limitations - **Restriction** — Request that we limit certain processing of your information - **Portability** — Request a machine-readable copy of your information where technically feasible - **Opt-out of SMS** — Reply STOP at any time to any SMS from HireApp

8b. California Residents

California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), including the right to:

- Know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and sell (we do not sell personal information) - Delete personal information we have collected, subject to exceptions - Correct inaccurate personal information - Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information - Limit the use of sensitive personal information - Non-discrimination for exercising your rights

8c. How to Exercise Your Rights

To exercise any of the rights described in this section, please contact us at [email protected] with the subject line "Privacy Request." We will respond to verified requests within the timeframe required by applicable law (generally within 45 days, with the possibility of one 45-day extension where necessary).

We may need to verify your identity before processing certain requests. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

9. Payments and Tax Reporting

HireApp uses Stripe, Inc. as its payment processor for all Pro payments and tax reporting. When you onboard as a Pro, you will be directed to create a Stripe account and will be required to accept Stripe's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Sensitive financial and tax information — including your Social Security Number or ITIN and bank account details — is collected and stored directly by Stripe. HireApp does not have full access to this data. Stripe's handling of your information is governed by Stripe's own Privacy Policy, available at https://stripe.com/privacy.

HireApp receives limited payment-related data from Stripe (such as payout status and transaction records) necessary to operate the Platform and maintain earnings records. IRS Form 1099-NEC generation for qualifying Pros is facilitated through Stripe's tax reporting infrastructure.

10. Children's Privacy

Our Services are not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. 11. Third-Party Links and Integrations

Our Services may contain links to third-party websites, applications, or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any personal information. This Policy applies only to our Services.

12. International Transfers

HireApp is based in the United States. If you access our Services from outside the United States, your personal information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States or other countries where HireApp or its service providers operate. We will handle your information in accordance with this Policy and take appropriate measures to ensure your information receives an adequate level of protection.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this Policy indicates when it was last revised.

For material changes, we will provide notice through the Platform (such as an in-app or email notification) prior to the change becoming effective. Your continued use of our Services after any updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.
